When you rush to the ER, the last thing on your mind is the safety of your belongings. But during such stressful moments, the security of your vehicle and personal items shouldn't be an added concern.
We understand this firsthand and have witnessed the lack of precautions outside medical facilities to protect families in a crisis. That's why we are committed to creating a security team dedicated to safeguarding vehicles and personal belongings, allowing families to focus solely on their loved ones.
Our goal is to make hospital parking safer and if possible, more affordable-or even free- so that no family has to worry about theft or security during their most vulnerable moments. Let's work together to bring peace of mind to those who need it most.

The Axe of Love and Kindness Foundation was born out of the extraordinary journey of Axell Logan Kendrick, a vibrant, healthy little boy whose life took an unexpected turn during the holiday season. Axell was a thriving, full-term baby who hit every milestone with ease. He loved playing outside, especially at the dirtbike track with his parents, who both share a passion for riding. Visits to the doctor were rare, as Axell ate, played, and slept like any typical, happy child.
Everything changed during Thanksgiving week. What started as a common cold quickly turned into something unimaginable. By the following Monday, Axell’s energy waned, and his breathing seemed labored, and by midweek, his condition worsened. On December 11, a worried text from the babysitter confirmed what we had been fearing—something wasn’t right.
Rushing to the Texas Woodlands ER, we expected to hear something like RSV or pneumonia. But after hours of tests and an x-ray, the doctors delivered the news that turned our world upside down: “Did you know your son has an enlarged heart?” Axell was diagnosed with myocarditis, a rare and serious condition. Within hours, we were transported to the Texas Children’s Heart Failure ICU in downtown Houston, where our family began an entirely new chapter filled with uncertainty, fear mixed with hope, and resilience.
Through the heartache and challenges, we found strength in Axell’s journey and the incredible support from those around us. This experience inspired us to create the Axe of Love and Kindness Foundation, named in honor of Axell and his fighting spirit. Our mission is to ensure that no family navigating the ICU feels alone or unsupported, providing both practical resources and heartfelt compassion during their most difficult days.
The Axe of Love and Kindness Foundation transforms our family’s pain into a legacy of care, strength, hope, and kindness—just as Axell inspires us to do every day.
